Nice, but...
I bought a set of the Raptor Style tapered rear blocks after having installed a set of 3" ReadyLift blocks only a few weeks prior. I liked the stance with the 3" straight blocks, however there was a strange feel in the steering afterwards which I equate to the change in geometry. I ordered a set of the Halolifts tapered blocks and had them installed by the same mechanic. The steering issue is now totally gone and I'm assuming it's because of that taper. The blocks themselves are well made, HOWEVER, there was one problem. The two pins in each block had to be cut down because they were too long and hit the axle, which didn't allow them to seat properly. It wasn't a lot, about an 1/8", but it was time consuming and frustrating have to pay $90/hr. to a mechanic to fix them. Even if the pins came 1/4" shorter there would still be plenty length left. I have a 2016 Lariat, and don't know if the pin hole depth changed in the newer models, but these simply wouldn't fit without modification. Would I recommend them? Yes. The taper seems to work much better than the straight blocks as far as suspension alignment. These blocks were installed along with the Halolifts 0-3" Boss Coil Overs, ICON front UCAs, and Boss rear shocks. It's a great match all around and I'm very happy with how the truck now handles.
